MOTIVATIONAL GROUP RUNS WITH MOTI
There's nothing like a fun group session to motivate and refresh your approach to exercise. You can use our changing facilities before or after your run. We also provide sports drinks and nutritional snacks for everyone to help them recover after the run.
Both of the run groups here at MOTI are a great chance to enjoy your training in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
For and 'All Ability Fitness Boost' Run Group. These groups are are aimed at improving fitness using a combination of Interval work and Hill repetitions...It is great for beginners and for advanced alike! This sort of training is ideal for improving your aerobic capacity to make those mid-week runs easier. Interval training has been proven as the best and quickest way to increase fitness.
Hill repetitions are perfect for building strength and add diversity and an element of speed to your training, which in turn keeps you much sharper and keeps the training fresh.
These sessions are a great way to break up your mileage so you don't always have to think of getting to your goal by doing long tedious workouts, keep it short and exciting!
'Intermediate Plus' Run Group involve a steady run, for about 50 mins, around the Roath park and lake area. The route is changed on a regular basis meaning this type of continuous training is an ideal way to improve your fitness, and is suitable for all abilities. Now that the evenings will be getting lighter, it gives us more scope for running in different areas of Cardiff and breaking up routes.

All sessions start at MOTI, unless stated. Bring along suitable clothing for the weather, we'll look after your jackets and bags while you run, and feed you with lovely sports drinks and nutritional snacks afterwards!
