Group Runs

There's nothing like a group run to motivate and refresh your approach to running. Initially there will be two group runs each week, a short slower tempo
run for those improving their fitness and a longer run for the improver or more experienced runner.

Depending on the levels of interest we will increase the number of runs, adding different types of training runs depending on what our customers ask for. So please let us know what you would like and we'll do our best to accommodate.

We've put together some simple instructions of what to bring so you can make the most from our group runs. And because we're open until 8pm you can use our changing facilities (or even our massage therapists!!!) after your run.

Thursday 6.30pm
Evening run with Dave for beginners and improvers.
Distance will be between 3 and 4km with a speed of 8-10kph.

What to wear
Arrow Spring / summer - water; a pair of running shoes; comfortable run wear,
Arrow Autumn - water; if chilly we suggest you wear a long sleeve top,
Arrow Winter - water; long sleeve top; windproof jacket or warm second layer;
      if very cold it might be worth bringing a ÔbeanieÕ hat and/or gloves;
Arrow Bring a snack with you for after the run, or you can buy a sports nutrition
      snack in the shop
Arrow You are welcome to leave a bag in the shop whilst you are out running.
